I’ll try the F6 thing, booting from CD when I get home later today. How can I format the drive if I can not get XP to see it? Anyway something else to think about.

I checked the floppy disk on another computer and worked great, I used a known good floppy drive with the same results, I used another d975xhx2 good floppy drive cable. Man, I need some. On page 27 of the technical spec, it says: The floppies do contain the files needed; I checked them on a second computer.

You would soon know if it was cabled improperly as the light would be constantly on. The provided Floppies did not work; the floppy drive intep was on after I hit F6 but not before.
